Naghmeh Kiumarsi to Present Her New Collection in Munich

“What Was Still Remains” explores the silhouettes of the 1920s and 1930s through a postmodern lens, on view at Kunst-Werkstatt from October 15 to 17, 2026.

9 October 2026

Naghmeh Kiumarsi will present her new collection, “What Was Still Remains,” in Munich this October. The three-day exhibition will take place at Kunst-Werkstatt, opening with a reception on Thursday, October 15, from 6 to 10 p.m.

Tradition Meets Modernity

The collection takes visitors on a journey through the silhouettes of the 1920s and 1930s, reimagined through a postmodern perspective. Bringing historical forms into conversation with the present, it explores the meeting of heritage and contemporary design.

The exhibition’s German title, “Was war, besteht fort,” echoes its central idea: what came before continues to resonate.
